How We Operate
We firmly believe the best way to engage entrepreneurs is to partner with them. Not by sending a check and showing up once a quarter. Not by micromanaging them. Not by parachuting in our favorite CEO to take over. Not by pairing them with a Partner managing 10 other Board seats.
Partnering means developing a shared view of the opportunity, rolling up sleeves, and building something big together. No one works harder than startup founders, but investors ought to try, and we do. Opening doors to customers and partners; providing a sounding board; acting as mentors; debating strategy; developing consensus; the best VCs do all of these well, but they do them even better when they built their own business from the ground up, and have successfully helped other entrepreneurs realize their dream – we have.
